FAQ's
What is our sick policy?
If your child is sick with a fever or gets sent home with a fever or a loose bowl movement they can not come back until they are fever free for 24 hours. This means that they will most likely have to stay home for at least one day.
What to send everyday with your kid?
Everyday you should send you kid with an extra set of clothes. In addition if its winter please send them with a coat, hat, gloves and boots, as we'll try and go outside if the weather allows. If it's summer please send sunscreen. If your child is still in diapers you will have to provide those as well.
At Odyssey we provide gloves, wipes, snacks, and other neccessary items.
Do we provide food?
Yes, thanks to CACFP we are able to provide food to all of our kiddos free of charge. This includes breakfast, lunch and an afternoon snack. If your child has any allergies, aversions or health needs please let us know and we will be able to accommodate them!

What is our connection with UMW?
As many of our parents and students know we have multiple connections with the Western. They provide components for our daily lunches, many of our board members are apart of the faculty, and we partner with the education department for observations and lab students. We get lab students from early education and elementary education classes, that are working towards their own degrees. We have also had classes of child development come and observe our students. This is a great opportunity for our students and for the students of Western as well. We feel lucky to have the relationship with the college that we do.
Need a check in code?
Every parent, guardian and approved pick up person needs to have a check-in code. To make sure that all of our students are accounted for we have to make sure that each student is checked in and out, and we know who was responsible for them before they got here. If you need a code please ask one of the teachers in your child's classroom and they can point you in the right direction.
